Affinity [Astro*Index]

Traditional term used to indicate a mutual attraction between two planets. For example, Venus and Mars are said to have affinity in terms of sexual forces, Venus and Jupiter in terms of philanthropy, Venus and Mercury have an artistic or communicative affinity and so on. The Sun has an affinity with all the planets.
