M-House System [Astro*Index]A house system introduced, in 1952, by the Astrological Lodge of the Theosophical Society of London. The MC is the same as the cusp of the 10th house, but the ASC is not the same as the cusp of the 1st house. M-house cusps are so named as they begin with the MC and position each successive cusps are 30°-steps thereafter. The pseudo-House circles (lunes) are formed by passing great circles through these cusps and the North and South poles of the Ecliptic.
