Quintile [Astro*Index]72 degree aspect. One of the Keplerian aspects, or divisions of the circle by fifths (360/5 = 72). Said to confer a special talent or genius. Generally not allowed an orb of more than two degrees, although the next closest divisions of the circle on either side are the sextile at 60 degrees and the square at 90 degrees. De Vore states that "their primary use is in directions." Getting associates "singlemindedness and power" with the quintile.

One of the minor aspects. One fifth of the circle of the zodiac.
One of the Keplerian aspects. The quintile is said to confer a special talent, creativity, or genius; it is also associated with single-mindedness and power, the expression of true individuality, and an extremely individualistic approach to life.
De Vore says, "Their primary use is in directions."

An aspect proposed by Kepler, consisting of 72 degrees, or one-fifth of the circle. The Biquintile is 144°, or two-fifths of the circle. A Decile is 36°, or half a Quintile. It has not been universally adopted. v. Aspect.
They have had limited adoption, and their value is chiefly in directions. They are:
