Trans-Neptunian [Prima]Many astrologers are interested in the possible existence of planets as yet undiscovered, some in order to match 12 planets to the 12 signs and 12 houses, some because of conclusions drawn from serious astrological and astronomical observation, and others due to fascination with the correspond- ence that each new stellar body inevitably develops with its emerging meaning in the horoscope.
The term "hypothetical" has become synonymous with the eight "TransNeptunian" planets, although there are other hypothetical planets besides e.g. Vulcan, Lilith, Transpluto).
The TransNeptunian planets are a set of eight hypothetical planets postulated by Alfred Witte to account for unexplained astrological phenomena he had been observing for many years.
