An orbital path which is circular (its eccentricity is exactly 0); generally treated as a degenerate case of an elliptical orbit whose eccentricity has decreased to zero. The orbits of Venus (e=0.0068), Earth (e=0.0168), and Neptune (e=0.0086) are nearly circular.
