Iteration [Astro*Index]

A mathematical tool (frequently used in computation) which is performed repeatedly. It is employed when no closed form exists for a given formula, such as the computation of the cusps in the Placidian House System.

Iteration [Munkasey M.]

A mathematical computational procedure which is performedrepeatedly. This allows you to approximate the answer to a formula which can not be computed directly. The Placidian House System uses a system of Iteration for the calculation of its cusps.
