Body [Astro*Index]

A planet, star, or designated point that exists in time or space. The term commonly refers to physical astronomical bodies, such as planets and stars. It may be extended to other sensitive points in a chart, including arabic parts, midpoints, angles, Transneptunian planets, or any hypothetical planet. The term is use particularly by astrologers who hardly distinguish between planets and sensitive points.
