Contra-Antiscia [Prima]

A planet's contra-antiscion is its reflection across the Aries-Libra axis. (However far a planet is on one side of this axis, its contra-antiscion is that far on the other side of the axis.) A contra-antiscion is also the point 180° opposite the antiscion of a planet or point.

Since the midpoint between a planet and its contra-antiscion always falls on the Aries-Libra (or "world") axis, activation of a planet's contra-antiscion (by a transiting or progressed planet, for example) will often reflect "in the world" experiences related to external events or other people.

Contra-Parallel [Astro*Index]

An aspect of astrological significance formed indeclination when one body is at the same (within the generally accepted orb of one degree) numerical declination value but different direction than a second body. For example: 16 N 12 and 15 S 46 would be contraparallel declinations.
