Tech Support; Runtime Error 429 and 3447

Runtime Error 429 and 3447:

Win*Star Express, WinWriter, Daywatch, and our KNOW software can all give this particular error.
This error is usually related to the DAO files.
The Dao files can be found in two different locations:

C:\windows\system32 (RARE!)

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\DAO

If you have a 64 bit operating system these files will be in a slightly different location:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\DAO

The three most important files are:

DAO350.DLL	Dated: 12/13/2000	Size: 557KB
DAO360.DLL	Dated: 08/04/2004	Size: 549KB
DAO2535.TLB	Dated: 05/15/1998	Size: 72KB
Delete all of the above files no matter what the date is.

NOTE: DAO360 may already be in use and cannot be deleted or pops back in after it is deleted. This is fine as long as you tried to delete it.

Download and run this file: Dao.exe

Be sure to reboot and then try the program again and see if you can reproduce the error.

Los archivos DAO se encuentran en dos ubicaciones:

C:\windows\system32 (casi nunca)

C:\Carpetas de Programas\Carpetas comunes\Microsoft Compartidos\DAO

Si Ud. tiene un sistema operativo de 64 bit estos archivos pueden encontrarse en otro directorio:

C:\Carpetas de Programas (x86)\Carpetas comunes\Microsoft Compartidos\DAO

NOTA: En algunos sistemas la Carpeta de Programas viene como "Archivos de Programas"

Los tres archivos mas importantes son:

DAO350.DLL	Fecha: 12/13/2000	Tamaño: 557KB
DAO360.DLL	Fecha: 08/04/2004	Tamaño: 549KB
DAO2535.TLB	Fecha: 05/15/1998	Tamaño: 72KB
Borre todos estos archivo, no importa que tengan fechas distintas a las señaladas arriba.

NOTA: El archivo DAO360 puede que este en uso en el momento que Ud. lo intene borrar y le de un mensaje de que no lo pode borrar o que Windows lo vuelva a crear inmediatamente se borre. Esto esta bien siempre y cuando intente borarlo.

Descargue y ejecute este archivo: Dao.exe

Reinicie la computadora y abra el programa para verificar que ya no aparezca el error.
