All NEW Matrix and Cosmic Patterns software are Windows 10 compatible.
For those of you with installation CDs or saved download links created prior to July 2015 please contact us first before installing. These installations are not Windows 10 compatible. You will need to update or upgrade your programs.
The old Win*Star 2.0, Win*Star 2.5, or Win*Star Plus are more than 17 years old and they are not compatible with Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 10.
Win*Star 4.0 Standard, Extended, or Professional are Windows 7, and Windows 8 compatible. If you have Windows 10 computer however, you can try installing it but it is not guaranteed that it will work on Windows 10. If after installing it on Windows 10 the program failed to run (or it failed to install), then your next option is to purchase the upgrade to the current version.
Win*Star 6.0 Standard, Extended, or Professional are 100% compatible with Windows 7, 8 and 10.
Support for old software
Company policy places limits on the age of our software than we can support.
For technical reasons we can no longer support software older than 2005 on windows XP or older than 2008 on Vista and later. We do not support versions of windows prior to XP nor DOS.
If you have any technical issues with older software you will be asked to update or upgrade to the appropriate version of our software for the version of windows installed on your machine.
